Koa “Koko” Kits
For the past two years, our Thanksgiving Service Project has involved raising funds for and personally assembling hygiene kits that we donate to women and children at Alexandria House and Union Rescue Mission.
Toy and Clothing Drives
We periodically offer opportunities for our members to donate new and gently used toys and clothing to benefit families in need. For instance, at our 2021 Holiday Party at Alexandria House (pictured) we encouraged members to bring items to the event and were able to collect and distribute a generous donation.
Miry’s List
In previous years, SLFC supported Miry’s List - hosting collaborative events and efforts - to benefit immigrant families and welcome new neighbors.
Project Sleep Tight
Our Project Sleep Tight service project involved packing backpacks for children with supplies both comforting and essential.
